Visalia man arrested for child sexual abuse material, police say

VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Visalia man was arrested Friday after officers say they discovered him with child sexual abuse material.

Visalia Police Department's Youth Services detectives say they received a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in April regarding a possible case of internet crimes against children. Upon investigation, officers say they identified 35-year-old Francisco Zavala as the suspect.

On Thursday, detectives say they served a search warrant at a home in the 3800 block of East
Country Street and took Zavala into custody. He was booked at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility on suspicion of possession of child sexual abuse material.
