Detectives Seek Public’s Help to Identify Person of Interest in Assaults

Detectives are investigating an assault of two people that occurred late February in Downtown Seattle.  Police are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the person of interest who ran from the scene.  

On February 21st, shortly after 3:00 p.m., two people walking on the sidewalk near 3rd Avenue and Columbia Street in Seattle were attacked from behind by a man with a knife.  Seattle Police officers responded and rendered aid.  Both victims were transported to the hospital and survived.
