The arrest comes after a break in the investigation earlier this week when police located a white Tesla thought to have been used in the homicide. The vehicle, which was towed from a home in Fresno, was believed to have transported the suspect away from the crime scene following the shooting.

The white Tesla being towed away for evidence on Tuesday was welcomed by Clovis Hills Community Church Pastor Shawn Beaty, who said that it "does help bring a sense of peace." The victim attended Clovis Hills Community Church and was described by members of the congregation as having "a brilliant, bright life."
