CHICAGO — The Flossmoor Police Department released 19 documents related to its investigation of the alleged assault and battery of Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx in June.

CWBChicago filed a Freedom of Information Act for the documents on June 23, the same day that William Swetz, 34, was charged with reversing his truck in Foxx’s direction and throwing the contents of a Big Gulp in her face.

But the police department responded by saying it would not provide the materials until mid-August, a delay well beyond the time allowed by law. We immediately took the matter to the Illinois Attorney General’s Office for review. With the state’s assistance, we received the materials from Flossmoor on Friday afternoon.

Below are all of the documents related to the Kim Foxx/William Swetz investigation as provided by the Flossmoor Police Department. CWBChicago has added watermarks to each page and, on one page, redacted Swetz’s street address, which Flossmoor PD overlooked during its redaction process.
